The Barnes Encyclopedia is a community-driven, bilingual (English/Russian) knowledge base about Barnes, London SW13 — one of London’s most distinctive riverside villages.

Our goal is to create a comprehensive, accurate, and freely accessible resource covering the history, culture, nature, architecture, and community life of Barnes.

How it works

  • All content is open and free — no paywalls, no subscriptions
  • Every fact is sourced and marked with a reliability level
  • Articles are available in English and Russian
  • The project follows the FolkUp Encyclopedia Framework
